The #GrandOasis is back! Enjoy free music, art, and culture from June 21 until October 1st! It will include a new line up of artists and events, from Canada’s greatest hits to Billboard chart-topping sensations to Indigenous artists and voices.

We at the Urban Islander have partnered with the Halifax Regional Municipality to ensure that these shows are at max capacity! Ama Lou is headlining the AFROASIS performance on the 30th of July, 2022. She’s been writing music since she was eleven years old and has made herself known in the industry. Networking and collaborating with the likes of Drake, A$AP Ferg, and Jorja Smith – in naming a few. Having her in the heart of downtown Halifax is gonna be a night to remember.

We’re not done yet, also appearing on stage that very evening, hailing from Toronto (The 6) are Divine Brown and LayDee Vee!  Both of these artists have been making their mark in the industry. Having all three of these artists grace us with performances is definitely gonna be one for the books!
